We've had enough of these on the forum to know what they are. I've been wanting to have a bigger one. And now is the time!
I was thinking about having a Walrus with a certain overarching theme, but that sounded too boring for me. So I have a few themes here. But without further ado, here is some background information.
Since it's pretty big, and I'm not sure if you guys are burnt out on these Walruses, I'll give you a while to come up with submissions. They'll be due on November 20th.
Let me know if you have any questions!

About my music:
I'm a 1990s and 2000s edgelord. I live for almost all things hard rock and metal, both the respected kind and the shabby Hot Topic kind.
I'm not a fan of anything electronic, unless there's significant 80s influence. I almost never like anything hip-hoppy or country.
My Top 20 Artists: Beartooth, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Scar Symmetry, Linkin Park, Billy Joel, Bring Me the Horizon, Claude-Michel Schönberg (composer of Les Mis and Miss Saigon), Issues, Slipknot, Nothing More, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Disturbed, Architects, Twenty One Pilots, Lana Del Rey, Opeth, Nevermore, and Paradise Lost.
So as you can see, I've heard many artists. Please don't recommend super popular things.
I don't feel like listing my preferred genres, because I'm really only versed in metal subgenres and I'm pretty sure most of you don't give a huge fuck about metal.
HOWEVER, I want to say that I'm sort of open-minded and there is something for me to join in any genre, I'm sure of it. So get creative with it.

Rules:
- You are permitted to send me a 2-3 sentence description along with each entry, along with why you chose it.
- All songs will be rated from 0-10, with decimals and I will write what I think of each song because that's the kind of person I am.
Rating system included below.
- You can submit songs to me through Discord (KravMaggot#0274) or Mafia Arena DMs.
- You can submit songs up until the due date. You can keep changing submissions until the due date, but you have to let me know for which categories you are submitting each song.
- If I'm familiar with a song you submit, I'll be deducting 2 points.
Notes: If I've listened to a song you've submitted once or twice and don't remember it super well, I will not deduct any points.
I will not deduct any points for the "Jaune," "Guilty Pleasure," and Atrocity" categories, due to their nature.
- If two or more players submit the same song for a category, the second (and third and so on, assuming I get that many) person to submit the song will be given the option to change their submission. If they decide to stick with it, it will be given a single score and the players involved will tie in that round's rankings.

Rating System:
It consists of a mix of subjective and objective factors. This is the general criteria, but I will skew the system depending on the category.
Vocals: How large does the singer's range seem to be? Do they have good technique? Are they putting their hearts into the songs they're singing? etc.
Up to 3 points.
Songwriting: How skilled do the instrumentalists seem to be? Are they putting their hearts into the songs they're playing? How much thought did they put into creating this song? etc.
Up to 3 points.
Feelings: How much am I personally vibing with the song? Do I like how it sounds, regardless of how technically good it is? Does it connect with me, personally? Do I think I'll listen to it again? Is it fun enough for me to listen to it on repeat? How do I feel about the lyrics? etc.
Up to 4 points.
Overall: I will add all the previous scores together for up to 10 points.

Prizes:
There will be prizes, and I will be dropping money again. I'm not sure what the monetary amount for prizes will be again. This will depend on the amount of players who sign up, and my financial situation when the game begins. Stay tuned.
Although, I'm in this for the music. I'm just trying to give some of you more incentive.

CATEGORIES
1. Jaune
You have two options: Submit a song that reminds you of me, or submit a song that you think I would send to you.
2. Amazing Vocals
Submit a song with vocals that stand out for range, technique, emotion, uniqueness, or anything else that stands out in a positive way.
I will give 5 possible points for quality of vocals (warning, I'm picky), and 5 possible points for my personal feelings.
Examples:
"I'll Never Love This Way Again" cover by Jona:
Clear and crisp, flawless technique and control, large range.
"This Is How I Disappear" by My Chemical Romance:
His technique isn't that great, but his uniqueness and emotion take the cake, there is no one like Gerard Way out there.
3. Amazing Songwriting
Submit a song with songwriting that stands out for creativity, flow, emotion, skill, or anything else that stands out in a positive way.
I will give 5 possible points for quality of songwriting (I'm not as picky), and 5 possible points for my personal feelings.
Examples:
"Doomsday" by Architects:
Conveys an atmosphere fitting to the title with genuinely emotional lyrics about death they experienced. Great flow.
"Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" by Billy Joel
This track is a classic with lyrics that tell a story. Amazing piano.
4. Guilty Pleasure
Submit a song that you feel a bit bad for enjoying. C'mon. We all have them.
If you claim not to have any, submit something that people would not expect you to like.
I will give 5 possible points for category fit, and 5 possible points for my personal feelings.
Personal Examples:
"Me Gustas Tu" by G-Friend
Super girly and happy, way outside of my aesthetic. I'm not proud of my love for K-pop, despite me talking about it openly.
"Undead" by Hollywood Undead
Within my preferred genres, but not good at all. Horrific lyrics, no musical talent shown.
5. Mashup
Submit a song that combines multiple previous songs. I think this is self-explanatory.
Examples:
Psychosocial Baby
42-song Pop Punk Mashup
Wish You Were Here But It's Gary Come Home
6. Music Video
Submit a song that you think sounds good, but more importantly, has an interesting music video.
Original criteria will apply, but instead of grading for feelings, 4 points will go to the video.
Examples:
AESTHETIC. Appeals to my senses in every way. Pretty uneventful but I love watching it.
It speaks for itself. It's a bit over a minute long; just watch it.
7. Atrocity
Submit a song that you find absolutely awful in every way.
Just use my general criteria as a reference for rating.
A 10 would be the worst thing I've ever heard, my ears bled.
A 0 would mean it's my favorite song and you are probably just trolling me.
Now, here's where it gets funky.
All players will choose one of the following two sets.
Just let me know which one you choose.
ELEMENTS
Pick four songs to represent the four elements.
8. Earth
9. Air
10. Water
11. Fire
SEASONS
Pick four songs to represent the four seasons.
NOTE: DO NOT GIVE ME VIVALDI.
8. Autumn
9. Winter
10. Spring
11. Summer
